AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THE EASTERN NAVAJO NATION
The need for adequate, safe housing for residents of the Eastern Navajo Nation is immense. St. Bonaventure Mission is deeply committed to increasing the affordable housing options for the Dine.
The Mission is working with donors, friends and the Gillen Family Foundation to make it possible for families with children and the elderly to vacate dilapidated dwellings and move into new or used modular and mobile homes. This helps to increase the amount of options available to the Dine.
How St. Bonaventure Indian Mission Supports Affordable Housing
St. Bonaventure Mission currently maintains two mobile home parks in Thoreau comprising of 119 homes. The majority of these homes are made available and affordable to low- and very low-income families.
This is just one of the many Community Outreach services the St. Bonaventure Mission provides. You can support these efforts with a tax exempt donation.
